Theirfty are 9 times out of 10 cheaper than other car rental companies. They have easy collection and drop-off procedure, and the car was in an excellent condition when we collected it.
We collected from Sydney and have a great experience both times. Booking online is easy and any enquiries about my reservation have always been handled quickly via email, plus all people we have met when picking up the vehicle were friendly and helpful.

Review :
There is a lot of choice out there when you want to rent a car but after comparing the offers on your site I plumped for Thrifty Car Rentals as we wanted a car for four days and they were running a buy three days get one FREE* - perfect!
We picked up at at their Cairns branch. We received excellent service from their lovely staff. Was upgraded on car and they were very happy, very accommodating.
Their were slight queue's at check in but that's to be expected at a busy airport. Once we reached the desk the staff were very helpful and friendly.
We ordered a Mitsubishi Outlander which was a great ride and the air conditioning was of course very welcome. The car was very clean, and importantly the actual vehicle matched the spec we had ordered.
We also decided to pay for our petrol at the start of the journey rather than returning the car full as I know how difficult it is to get our lot to the airport on time and fill up the car! All in all an excellent customer experience and I will definitely rent a car from Thrifty on our next vacation.
